All-New, Powerful Design
Nissan rebuilds the body of the Pathfinder to incorporate subtle features from past models, but with a modern twist. The front grille has been massively expanded from last year’s, giving the vehicle a more aggressive profile. This year's model is taller, wider, and longer than previous models although it is featured on the same wheelbase as its predecessors.

The 2022 Nissan Frontier features a bold redesign that demonstrates its overall capability. Although the truck is of a very similar size to previous model years, an aggressive new front end is defined by a horizontal hood that meets an aggressively vertical face. The expanded front grille is perfectly framed by two combination LED headlights as well as sculpted interlocking fenders that provide a bold look. The bed of the truck has also been substantially raised along with its rail systems, which increase the overall presence of the Frontier.

Engineers put together a loaded technology suite available with the newest Frontier. The midsize truck features a largest-in-class 9.0-inch touchscreen, which can connect seamlessly to your smartphone using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Easily access your phone, messages, apps, contacts, music, and more while on the go. For the first time yet seen in a Nissan truck, available is a intelligent surround 360 degree view with off road mode. Now you have a bird’s eye view of your truck complete with your immediate surroundings which helps you navigate through tight trails and roads.
The Nissan Frontier is equipped with Nissan SafetyShield 360. This is Nissan's own safety suite comprised of a series of audio and visual alerts. SafetyShield 360 actively monitors your blind spots, traces your lanes for perfect centering, and alerts you to obstructions while driving forward or in reverse.
Interior Improvements
The inside has been given a bold new athletic look. Off road adventures were already predicted with the redesign, as the front row features two handholds for both driver and passenger. Zero gravity seating makes for the utmost comfort while driving, and two-tone stitching gives the inside an even sportier appearance.

The Nissan Frontier operates on a similar wheelbase to its forebears but comes outfitted with new suspension systems that makes for a quiet and smooth drive. Featured in the Nissan Frontier is a 3.8-liter V6 engine, with a maximum output of 310 horsepower. With the Frontier, you can shift seamlessly between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive while actively moving forward.
The vehicle features an all-new 9-speed transmission, which allows for better control, enhanced efficiency, and a powerful acceleration fitting its outstandingly bold presence. Each Frontier comes standard with electronic trailer sway control, which comes in handy while towing the maximum capacity of 6,720 pounds. The maximum payload capacity for the 2022 Nissan Frontier is 1,610 pounds.
